Text Box: Gina Lea grew up sharing time between Southwest Ohio and the deep south. She began writing and illustrating stories as a child, hoping to create the next great comic strip one day. Having fallen in love with the Carolinas at a young age, she found it a natural setting for her books. Gina draws on her experiences living in a small town and working in the coffee industry for inspiration for her stories. She lives in North Carolina with her two best critics: Her husband and Zuzu the Wonder Dog.
